MIDDLEBURY TIES WILLIAMS, PANTHERS FALL IN P.K.'S
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - After 110 minutes of scoreless action, Williams advanced 3-1 on penalty kicks over Middlebury in the first-round of the NESCAC Tournament. The Ephs will play in the semifinals next weekend at Bowdoin, while Middlebury ends its season at 10-4-1.
Middlebury controlled much of the play, but were unable to find the back of the net. The Panthers held a 26-14 shot advantage as well as an 8-2 edge in corner kicks. Williams avenges a 2-1 loss to Middlebury back on October 11th in Vermont.
