Middlebury College field volleyball players Megan Jarchow (Cos Cob, Conn.) and Amy Hart (Kenilworth, Ill.) have both earned All-NESCAC honors. The senior duo helped lead the Panthers to an 18-7 mark in 2013, with a trip to the NESCAC Tournament.
Jarchow finished the season second in the NESCAC and first on the team with 3.74 kills/set. She also averaged .40 service aces, 2.20 digs and .26 blocks/set this season. Jarchow earned a season-high 24 kills and 16 digs in her final match against Amherst in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. She finished the season with five double-doubles in kills and digs. Jarchow is second all-time at Middlebury in matches played (117), kills (1,304) and kills/set (3.27), while ranking fifth in reception percentage (.909) and sixth in hitting percentage (.244).
Hart was fifth in the league in kills/set with 3.57 and sixth in service aces with .45/set. She also paced the team with 3.02 digs/set this season. Like Jarchow, she earned a season-high in digs in the NESCAC Quarterfinals, finishing with 24 in the match. She earned a dozen double-doubles this year, with six service aces in an October 4th win at Wesleyan. She finishes her career second all-time at Middlebury in service aces/set (.45), third in reception percentage (.919), fourth in kills/set (2.90) and seventh in kills (886).
