Volleyball Splits A Pair Of NESCAC Matches

The Middlebury women's volleyball team fell to Trinity 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-15, 25-18) on Friday night at Wesleyan, before defeating the host school 3-1 (21-25, 25-11, 25-15, 25-15) on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers return to action on Tuesday night at Union.

Megan Jarchow earned 17 kills and 15 digs, while Sarah Studwell added a dozen kills against Trinity. Caitlin Barrett chipped in with 14 digs, while Julia Gibbs had 40 assists.

Amy Hart (14), Studwell (13) and Jarchow (10) were the leaders in kills in the victory over Wesleyan. Jarchow added 16 digs, Barrett had a dozen, while Gibbs again had 40 assists.
