The Middlebury women's volleyball team had a good weekend as they went 3-1 at the Hall of Fame Classic hosted by Smith and Mt. Holyoke. The Panthers dropped their only match of the weekend by a score of 3-1 to Brandeis. Patterson (14), Hicks (13) and Hartsock (13) were the kills leaders, while Patterson had a big day on defense with 32 digs.
Middlebury bounced back that night to pick up a 3-0 win over Wheaton. Patterson earned 15 kills in the match, while Wong had 29 digs.
The next day, Hartsock led the Panthers with 12 kills in a 3-1 win over Colby. Hicks had 11 kills in the match, while Patterson (23) and Wong (20) were the digs leaders.
Wollin had a huge match with 53 assists as Middlebury topped Bates 3-1 in their final match of the weekend. Patterson pounded out 17 kills in the match, followed by first-year player Lexi Fisher (San Francisco, Calif.) with 15 and Hicks with 14. Wong had 30 digs to lead the defense.
