The Middlebury College women's volleyball team will make its 11th consecutive appearance in the NESCAC Tournament this weekend at Williams. The Panthers will take on Colby in the quarterfinals on Friday night, with hopes of advancing to the semifinals and finals over the weekend. Middlebury won the NESCAC Championship back in '97 and '98.
Leading the Panther's offense are Lacee Patterson (2.77 kills/game), Katy Hicks (2.57 kills/game) and Sydney Hartsock (2.03 kills/game). On the defensive side, Jamie Wong averages 5.42 digs/game, while Patterson earns 4.37 digs/game. Jackie Edwards leads the team in blocks with 111, while Hicks has 76 on the year. Laurie Wollin, who recently broke the school's single season assist record, paces the team with 987 helpers this season.
