Middlebury Competes at Ephs Field & Track Meet

Members of the Panthers women's track and field team competed at the Ephs Track & Field Meet hosted by Williams on Saturday. Middlebury is idle until Friday, February 28-29 when it hosts the Division III New England Championships.

Helene Rowland paced the Panthers, earning top-honors in the shot put with a heave of 37'10.75". Peyton Belsher placed second in the high jump clearing a height of 4'11.5", while Briana Johnson earned fourth with a mark of 4'7.5". In the pole vault, Leah Granger earned runner-up honors with a height of 10'8". Cady Barns placed second in the triple jump, recording a mark of 35'6.5", while Isabelle Gay was just behind in third (34'5.5"). Emily Ray placed third in the weight throw with a mark of 44'10.75".
