Middlebury's Rory Kelly earned All-American honors in the 3,000-meter run on the final day of the 2019 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships. The two-day meet was held at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. Coupled with the women's distance medley relay's fifth-place finish on Friday evening, the Panther women recorded 12 team points, good for a tie for 16th place out of 76 scoring institutions.

During Saturday's championship final, Kelly crossed the line with a school-record time of 9:45.85, finishing in second place out of 12 runners and earning All-American status. Saturday's mark lowers her time of 9:47.28 which she set on February 23 during the Division III New England Championships.

The Panthers will begin their outdoor season when they head to California in two weeks for a meet at Point Loma Nazarene University on Saturday, March 23.
