Women’s Track & Field Athletes Post All-NESCAC Laurels

The NESCAC announced its 2017 All-Conference Teams at the completion of the league's Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Bowdoin. The top-three finishers in each event during the championship last Saturday received All-Conference recognition. The Panther women finished third out of 11 teams competing in the meet.

A combined eight Panther women picked up all-conference accolades, including two event winners. Catie Skinner was victorious in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:09.11, while Devon Player won the javelin with a toss of 137'6".

Additionally on the track, Maddie Pronovost finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.83. In the 4x800-meter relay, the quartet of Anna Willig, Meg Wilson, Skinner and Lucy Lang ran to a runner-up effort of 9:22.91. Off the track, Kreager Taber cleared the pole vault bar at a height of 10'8" for second place.

Also earning all-conference laurels was Abigail Nadler with her third-place showing during the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:36.96.
