The Panther indoor track teams were in action on Friday, taking on the UVM Catamounts. First-year athlete Jen Katz (Winchester, Mass.) set a pair of school records in the meet to pace the women. Katz finished third in the 55-meters in 7.54, while placing second in the 200-meters with a time of 27.23, both new school marks.
Rookie Emily Coles (Slingerlands, N.Y.) was a winner in the 55-meter hurdles in 9.38, while classmate Kelley Coughlan (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) won the triple jump with a 34'8.25" effort.
Junior Pascal Losambe (S. Burlington, Vt.) won a pair of events to pace the men, winning both the shot put (45'11.25") and the 35-pound weight throw (38'11.25"). Senior Kevin Bright (Sharon, Mass.) won the 400-meters, finishing with a time of 51.64, while sophomore Patrick Sedney (Underhill, Vt.) was a winner in the pole vault (12'6").
