Indoor Track Competes At Dartmouth

2/5/05 - The Panther indoor track team was in action last weekend as they competed at <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Dartmouth. Senior Nick Digani (Northfield, Ill.) continued his impressive feats as he finished second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:54.94, breaking his own school record. First-year athlete Jimmy Butcher (Garden City, N.Y.) won the 3000 meters in 9:02.45 to round out the top men's performances.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Finishing third for the women in the weight throw was rookie Jen Currie (Milton, Vt.), with a toss of 42'6.25". Earning a fifth place finish in the 800 for the women was senior Allison Williams (Edina, Minn.) with a time of 2:26.01.
