Track Teams Compete At UNH

5/15/05 - The <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Middlebury College track & field teams were in action at the Open New England Championships hosted by the University of New Hampshire. The men's team placed 11th out of 36 schools competing at the meet. Highlights for the men included a second place finish by junior Kevin Bright (Sharon, Mass.) in the 400 hurdles with a time of 53.33. First-year runner Patrick Swan (Horseheads, N.Y.) ran a solid race in the 400, placing sixth overall with a time of 49.34. The 4x400 relay team continued its impressive races, as they again broke the school record with a time of 3:16.47, placing third overall. The team was comprised of Bright, Swan, senior Nick Digani (Northfield, Ill.) and rookie David LaRocca (Sparta, N.J.).<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
