  • Women's Tennis Ends Fall With Home Invitational

    The three-day Middlebury Invitational women’s tennis tournament featured a quartet of teams that played a form of hidden duals from Friday through Sunday. Action took place inside the Nelson Recreational Center and outdoors on the Proctor Tennis Courts. Teams competing in the invitational were Middlebury, Amherst, Brandeis and Williams. The invitational concluded the fall portion of the season for the Panthers.
  • Kamdar, Neal Win Title as Women's Tennis Competes at NEWITT

    The Middlebury women's tennis team continued its fall season by competing at the New England Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament. The event was co-hosted by Mount Holyoke and Smith in Massachusetts, with four brackets being contested. The format included duos from the respective schools who played two singles and one doubles match against each other, with the winners of the best two-of-three format advancing to the next round. The singles were played with two regular sets and a tiebreaker set in the third if necessary, while doubles was one pro-set.

  • Panthers Host ITA Women's Tennis New England Regional

    Champions have been crowned at the 2019 ITA Women's Tennis New England Regional Championship hosted by Middlebury College. The winners and runner-up players of both the singles and doubles draws advance to the ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Georgia from October 17-20.
  • Second Day of ITA Women’s New England Regional Ends

    The second day of the 2019 ITA Women's Tennis New England Regional has come to a close, with action taking place at the Proctor Tennis Courts on the Middlebury campus. After two days of competition, the third-seeded Panther doubles duo of Heather Boehm and Maddi Stow will play in the semifinals on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.
  • Day One of ITA Women’s New England Regional Complete

    The opening day of the 2019 ITA Women's Tennis New England Regional has come to a close, The tournament is being played on the Proctor Tennis Courts with the Nelson Recreational Center and the nearby Middlebury Indoor Tennis facility serving as indoor venues. Following day one, one Panther remains in the singles bracket that will begin competition Saturday morning, while two Middlebury doubles pairs were victorious and will continue play in the bracket in the afternoon.
  • Women's Tennis to Host ITA New England Regional
    September 26, 2019
    Middlebury College will serve as the host site for the 2019 ITA Division III Women's New England Regional Tennis Championship. The tournament will be played on the Proctor Tennis Courts with the Nelson Recreational Center and the nearby Middlebury Indoor Tennis facility serving as indoor venues. Singles and doubles action begins Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude with the championship rounds on Sunday. A total of 17 New England Division III schools will have singles players and/or doubles tandems competing this weekend.
  • Women's Tennis Starts Season at Morehouse Invitational

    The Middlebury women's tennis team opened its 2019-20 season by taking part in the annual Lindsay Morehouse Invitational hosted by Williams. During the three-day event, individuals from Middlebury, RPI, Skidmore and Williams squared off in singles and doubles matches. No individual tournament winner was crowned at the end of the Invitational, as the tournament is a round-robin format.
