  • Swimming & Diving Finishes Competition at the NCAAs

    Middlebury finished up competition at the 2013 NCAA Swimming and Diving NCAA Championships in Shenandoah, Texas on Saturday night. The Middlebury women finished tied for 32nd among 54 scoring teams, while the men were 37th among 47 squads with at least one point.
  • Swimming & Diving Headed To NCAAs

    Seven members of the Middlebury College swimming and diving team will take part in the 2013 NCAA Championships from March 20-23. The championships are taking place at the Conroe Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas and are hosted by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) and the Shenandoah Convention & Visitors Bureau.
  • Harper Qualifies For NCAA Championships

    Two Middlebury College women's divers competed at the NCAA Division III Diving Regional this weekend at Springfield College. Junior Colleen Harper earned a bid to nationals, recording sixth and 13th-place finishes, while senior Hannah King posted ninth and 20th-place finishes at the event.

    Two members of the Middlebury College men’s swim team recently earned All-Conference honors. The top three finishers in each event at the 2013 NESCAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships received All-Conference recognition. 
  • Men's Swimming Finishes Fifth At NESCAC's - Mackay Breaks Records

    Middlebury finished fifth overall at the 2013 NESCAC Swimming & Diving Championships hosted by Wesleyan. Williams won the event (1,936), followed by Amherst (1,824), Conn. (1,098), Tufts (1,080) and the Panthers (904.5).
  • Men's Swimming & Diving Headed To NESCAC Championships

    Middlebury will challenge for the NESCAC crown this weekend when the 2013 NESCAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships get underway. The three-day meet begins on Friday, February 22 with preliminary heats in the morning and championship races in the evening at the Wesleyan University Natatorium in Middletown, Conn.

    The Middlebury College swimming and diving teams hosted a two-day invitational on Friday and Saturday in the natatorium. Williams, Amherst and Springfield were on campus to take part in the meet, which boasted some impressive times.
  • Swim Teams Entertain Williams

    The Middlebury men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were back in action on Saturday, hosting NESCAC foe Williams on campus. The women fell 178-122, while the men were defeated 196-102. Junior Ian MacKay (Vero Beach, Fla.) paced the men’s team with wins in the 50 free (21.73) and 100 fly (51.59), while sophomore Jamie Hillas (Woodbridge, Conn.) led the women with victories in the 100 (1:05.57) and 200 (2:26.87) breaststroke events.
  • Swim Teams Split At Union

    The Middlebury College swimming and diving teams competed on the road at Union Saturday afternoon. The women cruised to a 221-74 victory, while the men were edged by a score of 154-146. Jamie Hillas earned three wins on the afternoon for the women, taking home the 50 breaststroke (30.73), 100 back (1:02.24) and the 100 IM (1:01.60).
  • Swim Teams Dominate Colby & Bates

    The Panther swimming and diving teams opened up the second semester with a pair of meets at home against Colby and Bates. The men's team earned a 224-69 victory, while the women cruised to a 237-62 win on Saturday. Sunday, the men were 176-122 victors over Bates, while the women came away with a 186-108 win.
  • Swim Teams Fall At Springfield

    The Middlebury College swimming and diving teams ended the semester with a meet at Springfield. The women were narrowly edged 153-147 at the meet, while the men fell 162-131.
  • Swimmers Host Amherst
    December 01, 2012
    The Panther swimming and diving teams hosted Amherst in the squad's first home meet of the season. The Middlebury women were defeated 162-132, while the men fell 208-86. The team returns to action next Saturday at Springfield in the final meet of the semester.
  • Swimming & Diving Opens Season At Conn. College
    November 17, 2012
    The Middlebury College swimming and diving teams opened up their 2012-13 season with a meet at Connecticut College against the Camels and Tufts. The women defeated Tufts 159-134, while falling to Conn. 149-138. The men were defeated by Tufts 183-104, while dropping their contest with Conn., 179-99.
