Three Panther Women to Compete in CSA Individual Championships

Three members of the Middlebury women's squash team head to the 2019 CSA Individual Championships from March 1-3. Seniors Beatrijs Kuijpers (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Alexa Comai (Haverford, Pa.), along with rookie Ideal Dowling (New York, N.Y.) will each compete in the Holleran Cup draws. Kuijpers and Comai are squaring off against opponents in the north draw, while Dowling is taking part in the east draw. The three-day event is being hosted by Brown and will be held in Providence, Rhode Island at the Nicol Squash Club at Moses Brown School.

Kuijpers is a four-time All-NESCAC selection with three first-team nods. The captain posted a 9-9 record against the opponent's top player. Five of her victories have come in three games this season. Kuijpers posted a 3-0 victory in the NESCAC Tournament match against Amherst, helping the Panthers earn third place for the seventh time in the last eight years.
