Panther Women Fall to Virginia at CSA Team Championships

The 15th-ranked Middlebury women's squash team fell to No. 10 Virginia by a 9-0 score on Friday in the Kurtz Cup quarterfinal round at the CSA Team Championships. The event is being hosted by Trinity in the Kellner Squash Center. The Panthers (12-5) return to action Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in a consolation semifinal match against No. 14 George Washington.

The Cavaliers (17-6) were victorious in three games during seven of the nine matches. Alexa Comai fought back from a two-game deficit to send the match into a decisive fifth game before falling at No. 3, while Natalie Madden claimed a game in her match at No. 5.
