A pair of players from the Middlebury College women's squash team were named to the 2018 NESCAC All-Conference teams. Junior Beatrijs Kuijpers (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was a first-team selection for the second-straight year, while senior captain Lucy Bostwick (New Canaan, Conn.) landed a spot on the second team. Middlebury concluded the season with a team record of 12-10, finished third at the NESCAC Championship and placed 15th during last weekend's CSA Team Championship's Kurtz Cup.
Kuijpers picks up her third all-conference accolade following a second-team nod in 2016. She solidified the top of the Middlebury ladder, posting a 6-11 record against the opponent's top player. Kuijpers posted a 3-0 victory in the NESCAC Tournament match against Amherst, helping the Panthers earn third place for the sixth time in the last seven years.
Bostwick earns a spot on the all-conference team for the first time in her career. The senior captain played mainly in the No. 2 slot this season for the Panthers and posted an overall record of 9-11. She also won two of three matches in the top spot during Middlebury's contests in December.
