The Middlebury women's squash team has earned the #8 seed in the Kurtz Cup (B Division) for the upcoming CSA National Team Championships to be played at Princeton in the Jadwin Gymnasium. The Panthers, ranked 16th overall, will take on ninth-ranked Dartmouth in a quarterfinal match on Friday, February 24 at 2:30 p.m. and will continue to play on both Saturday and Sunday to determine their overall finish.

The Panthers enter the weekend with a 9-9 record and a fourth-place finish at the NESCAC Tournament earlier this month. After dropping its first two matches in early December, Middlebury rattled off a seven-match winning streak in the first part of January before running into a slew of nationally-ranked foes. The Panthers played Dartmouth in the latter part of last month, dropping a 9-0 decision in New Hampshire.

Leading Middlebury into the tournament will be a pair of captains in senior Audrey Ellen and junior Liddy Renner. In the middle of the ladder, Ellen has posted an 11-7 record at both the #6 and #7 spots. Renner has tallied a 9-9 mark mainly in the fourth spot of the lineup.
