Middlebury College women's soccer goalkeeper Ursula Alwang (Weston, Conn.) has been named a first-team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches. The senior helped lead the Panthers to a record of 14-3-3, with the team advancing to the NESCAC Championship game, while hosting an NCAA Regional.
Alwang is a two-time first-team All-NESCAC and All-Region choice. The senior finished the season with an 8-2-2 mark, boasting a 0.53 goals against average with six solo shutouts. The Panther defense finished second in the NESCAC with a mere 0.44 goals allow per game, with 13 total shutouts. Alwang ends her career with a 40-8-7 record, a 0.53 GAA with 24 solo and 12 shared shutouts. Her GAA is tied for the second-lowest all-time at Middlebury, while her shutout total of 24 ties the school's all-time mark.
