Middlebury jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the game's first 2:29, before Kelsey Sullivan answered for Connecticut College to make it a 3-1 game at the 26:33 mark. That would be the Camel's final goal as the Panthers ran off nine straight goals to take a 12-1 lead into the intermission. Middlebury scored seven unanswered in the second half to coast to the win.
Alison Perencevich led the Panthers with four goals and three assists on the afternoon, while Beth Seeley added four goals. Kim Walker scored three in the game, while Elizabeth Renehan dished out four assists. Johanna Rosenfield made three saves in 49 minutes for Middlebury, while Paige Diamond made seven saves in 49 minutes for the Camels.
