  • Panther Women’s Golf Team Earns Regional, National Rankings

    The Middlebury women’s golf team wrapped up a successful fall portion of its schedule, earning both regional and national rankings from Golfstat for the fall season. The Panthers recorded a No. 3 regional spot behind defending national champion New York University and Williams. Middlebury also checked into the top-25 national rankings in 20th place.  
  • Middlebury Finishes Third at NESCAC Qualifier

    The Panther women’s golf team placed third among six teams at the 2019 NESCAC Fall Qualifier. The top four teams advance to the spring championship, which will be hosted by Williams on April 25-26. The Ephs placed first with a 619, followed by Amherst (624), Middlebury (635) and Hamilton (679). Action took place at the Taconic Country Club in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

    The Middlebury women’s golf team sits in third place among six teams at the 2019 NESCAC Qualifier. The tournament also doubles as the Williams Fall Invitational. Action is taking place at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The hosts lead the event with a 312, followed by Amherst (318) and the Panthers (326).
  • Women's Golf Set to Compete in Initial NESCAC Qualifier

    Middlebury travels to Williams this weekend as the NESCAC Women’s Golf Championship has a new format in 2019-20. The Ephs will host a fall qualifier, in conjunction with the Williams Fall Invitational, on October 5-6 at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The top-four teams and the top four individuals outside of the top-four teams will advance to the NESCAC Women’s Golf Championship set for April 25-26, 2020. The winner of the fall qualifier will host the spring championship.

  • Levins Earns Medalist Honors as Women's Golf Captures Phinney Classic

    The Middlebury women’s golf team took home the title at the George Phinney Golf Classic, winning by six strokes over second-place Amherst (640). The Panthers shot a 312 on Saturday and came in with a 322 on Sunday for a two-round total of 634. Action took place at the par-71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the Middlebury campus. Middlebury returns to action next weekend at the NESCAC Qualifier/Williams Fall Invitational.
  • Panthers Lead After One Day at George Phinney Classic

    Middlebury leads after one day of play at the highly-competitive 2019 George Phinney Classic at the par-71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the Middlebury campus. The Panthers shot a 312 on Saturday, five strokes ahead of Amherst and Williams. Action concludes on Sunday with 18 holes of golf beginning at 9:00 a.m.
  • Women's Golf Ties For Second Among 16 at Mt. Holyoke

    The Middlebury women’s golf team finished in a tie for second place among 16 teams at the Mount Holyoke Invitational. Williams won the event with a two-day total of 599, while New York University and the Panthers were well back, each coming in with a 622. Action took place at The Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Middlebury returns to action next weekend when it hosts the George Phinney Jr. Golf Classic.
  • Middlebury Finishes Third At Wellesley

    The Middlebury women's golf team placed third overall at the two-day Ann S. Batchelder Invitational hosted by Wellesley at the Nehoiden Golf Course. Williams won the seven-team event with a 598, the host school was second with a 628, while the Panthers shot a 633. Middlebury is back in action next weekend, participating in the Mt. Holyoke Invitational.
  • Women's Golf Battles Back to Place Second at St. Lawrence

    Middlebury finished second overall among nine teams at the St. Lawrence Invitational to open the fall season. The Panthers return to action next weekend at the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational hosted by Wellesley. NYU won the event with a 581, followed by Middlebury (626) and Hamilton (632). Action took place at the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course.

    The Middlebury women’s golf team enters the 2019-20 campaign with seasoned veterans throughout the lineup. The Panthers finished in the top five during eight of the nine tournaments which the team teed off last year, including a runner-up performance at the season-opening St. Lawrence Invitational.
