Levins Earns Post-Season Honors

COMPLETE WGCA RELEASE

Middlebury women's golfer Chloe Levins (Rutland, Vt.) has been named a First-Team All-Region selection, as well as an Honorable Mention All-American by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). This season, the junior became just the second Middlebury individual to qualify for the championship, joining Flora Weeks '12 who took part in 2009 and 2012.

Levins finished in a tie for 18th place among 131 golfers at the 2019 NCAA Women's Golf Championships earlier this month in Houston, Texas. She improved her place for three-straight days, moving up from 29th on day one. Levins shot a total of 310 and +22 (78, 76, 80, 76) over the four-day event.

This season, she finished in the top seven during eight of the nine events. Levins took home medalist honors two-straight weekends last fall at the Williams Fall Classic and the George Phinney Jr. Classic/NESCAC Championship.
