  • Glatt, Peng Garner WGCA Academic Honors
    July 31, 2015
    Recent Middlebury women’s golf graduates Jordan Glatt (Doylestown, Pa.) and Michelle Peng (West Harrison, N.Y.) were recognized for their efforts in the classroom by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). The organization named each student-athlete an All-American Scholar following the conclusion of the 2014-15 year.
  • Women's Golf Closes Out Season at Williams Invitational

    The Middlebury women's golf team closed out its season by competing in the Williams Spring Invitational Tournament. The Panthers placed third overall (643) in the six-team event, while two teams from Williams took first (618) and second (640) place, respectively.
  • Women's Golf Second at Amherst - Glatt Takes Medalist Honors

    The Middlebury women's golf team finished in a tie for second-place among 10 teams competing at the Jack Leaman Invitational hosted by Amherst at the Hickory Ridge Golf Club. The single-day tournament saw Ithaca take home the team title with a 324, followed by Middlebury and Williams who were both one stroke back. The Panthers return to action next weekend at the Williams Invitational.
  • Women's Golf Opens Spring With Fourth-Place Finish at Vassar Invite

    The Middlebury women's golf team finished fourth among 12 teams taking part in the 2015 Vassar College Invitational. Action took place on the par-72, 5,852-yard Casperkill Golf Club in Poughkeepsie, New York. Williams won the event with a 617, followed by NYU (632), Ithaca (657) and the Panthers (661). Middlebury returns to action next weekend at the Jack Leaman Tournament hosted by Amherst.
  • Women's Golf In Third After One Day at Vassar Invitational

    The Middlebury women's golf team sits in third place among 12 teams competing at the 2015 Vassar College Invitational. Action is taking place at the par-72, 5,852-yard Casperkill Golf Club in Poughkeepsie, New York. Williams leads the event with a 306, followed by NYU (320), Middlebury (333) and Ithaca (336). Action continues on Sunday with the final 18 holes.
  • All-NESCAC Academic Team Announced

    The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) has announced its 2014 Fall All-Academic Selections. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution. The following are Middlebury’s representatives.
  • Women's Golf Ends Fall Season at Wellesley

    The Middlebury women’s golf team wrapped up its fall season at the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational hosted by Wellesley College. The Panthers placed third in the nine-team field, taking 18 strokes off their day one score with a 319 on day two, finishing with a 656. Williams won the event with a 624, followed by NYU (538). Action took place as the par 72, 5,860-yard Nehoiden Golf Club.
  • Women's Golf Places Fifth At Williams Fall Invitational

    The Middlebury women's golf team placed fifth among 16 teams competing at the Williams Fall Invitational Tournament. The Panthers peformed similarly each day, shooting a 336 and a 335 for a two-day total of 671. Williams won the event with a 624 at the Taconic Golf Club. Day one saw sideways rain for most of the day, with better weather on day two, despite a cold start.
  • Women's Golf Team Places Second At Its Own Invitational

    Williams extended its 20-stroke day one lead to 41 as it dominated the Middlebury Invitational/NESCAC Tournament with a two-day total of 619. Middlebury followed with a 660, while Amherst (672) placed third. The 11-team event took place at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College.
  • Day One Complete At Women's Golf Invitational

    Williams fired a 307 on day one to hold a 20-stroke lead at the Middlebury Women’s Golf Invitational which also doubles as the NESCAC Tournament. The Ephs lead the host school, who shot a 327, followed by Amherst (334) and Mount Holyoke (335). The 11-team event is taking place at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College. Action continues on Sunday beginning at 9:00 a.m.
  • Women's Golf Places Third at Mount Holyoke
    September 21, 2014
    Despite shaving eight strokes of its day one score, the Middlebury women’s golf team moved from second to third at the Mount Holyoke Invitational Tournament. The Panthers finished with a two-day total of 640, including a 316 on day two. Williams won the event with a 623, followed by Ithaca, who shot a 635. Action took place at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.
  • Women's Golf Begins Season with Third-Place Effort at NYU Invitational

    The Middlebury women's golf team opened its 2014-15 season by recording a third-place finish at the 12-team NYU Invitational. The two-day event was contested at the par-72, 5,812-yard Spook Rock Golf Course, as the host Violets won the event with a combined total of 620. Mount Holyoke (639), Middlebury (641), Randolph-Macon (661) and Amherst (663) rounded out the top five teams.
