    The Panther women’s basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, falling by a score of 72-65 at Colby-Sawyer (6-1) on Saturday afternoon. Middlebury (6-1) is off for finals week, returning to action at Nazareth on December 17th at 4:00 p.m.
  • Big Fourth Quarter Pushes Middlebury Past Sage

    Middlebury outscored Sage 31-12 in the fourth quarter, on its way to a 73-54 win over the Gators (2-5) on Tuesday evening in Pepin Gym. The Panthers (6-0) return to action at Colby-Sawyer on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., while Sage visits Westfield on the same day with a noon start.
  • Davis Earns NESCAC Player of the Week Honors

    Middlebury College women’s basketball player Maya Davis (Dedham, Mass.) has been selected as the NESCAC Player of the Week. The senior forward averaged 19.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for the Panthers. Davis shot 57.9 percent (11-19) from the floor and 83.3 percent (15-18) from the foul line. She netted 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds against Castleton in an overtime win and added 17 points and nine boards at Cabrini.
  • Women's Basketball Nets Road Victory at Cabrini

    The Middlebury women’s basketball team improved to 5-0 on the season with a 65-59 road win at Cabrini (5-2) on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers return to action on Tuesday night when they host Sage at 7:00 p.m.
  • Middlebury Edges Castleton in Overtime Thriller

    The Middlebury women’s basketball team put together a 7-2 run at the start of Tuesday’s overtime, fending off a couple of Castleton comeback attempts, on its way to a 64-60 win over the Spartans (5-1) in Pepin Gymnasium. The Panthers (4-0) return to action on Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. tip at Cabrini, while Castleton entertains Keene State on December 4 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Women's Hoops Earns Road Win at Skidmore
    November 23, 2019
    Middlebury outscored Skidmore (2-3) 26-16 in the third quarter, on its way to a 74-59 win over the Thoroughbreds on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers (3-0) return to action on Tuesday night when they host Castelton Sate at 7:00 p.m.
  • Women's Basketball Wins Home Opener
    November 19, 2019
    Middlebury outrebounded Westfield State 52-22 en route to a 76-60 win over the Owls (3-1) in the team’s home opener in Pepin Gym. The Panthers (2-0) return to action on Saturday with a 2:00 p.m. tip at Skidmore.

    The Middlebury women’s basketball team began its 2019-20 season with a 68-55 road win at Keene State (0-3) on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers dominated the boards with a 47-25 advantage in the game. Middlebury returns to action on Tuesday night with its home opener against Westfield State at 5:30 p.m.

    The 2019-20 Middlebury women’s basketball team is eager to begin a new season under the guidance of sixth-year head coach KJ Krasco. Last winter, the Panthers tallied a 20-8 mark that saw the team earn its first NCAA Tournament bid since 1997-98. With a strong nucleus of its roster returning, Middlebury is poised for a successful 2019-20 campaign.
