Ski Teams Set to Host Winter Carnival - Nordic Races Moved to Saturday/Sunday

Middlebury College will host its 93rd annual winter carnival on Friday-Sunday, February 26-28. The event also doubles as the EISA Championships and an NCAA Regional. Nordic events originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday have been moved to Saturday/Sunday due to heavy rains anticipated in the area on Thursday. The nordic races will be contested at the Rikert Nordic Center, while the alpine events will be held at the Middlebury College Snow Bowl. 

Friday, February 26

9:30 a.m.         Men's 1st run slalom followed immediately by women
12:30 p.m.       Men's 2nd run slalom followed immediately by women

Saturday, February 27
Alpine
9:30 a.m.         Women's 1st run giant slalom followed immediately by men
12:30 p.m.       Women's 2nd run giant slalom followed immediately by men

Nordic
10:00 a.m.       Men's 10K Freestyle - Individual Start
12:00 p.m.       Women's 5K Freestyle - Individual Start

Sunday, February 28
Nordic
10:00 a.m.       Men's 20K Freestyle - Mass Start
11:30 a.m.       Women's 15K Freestyle - Mass Start
