Nordic Action Concludes Colby Carnival, Panthers Finish Fourth

Middlebury finished fourth overall at the Colby Carnival, as action concluded on Sunday with a pair of nordic races at the Quarry Road Recreational Area in Waterville. Dartmouth won the carnival with 921 points, followed by Vermont (917), New Hampshire (912) and the Panthers (746).

In the women's team sprint, the Middlebury duo of Nicolette Amber and Kelsey Phinney took home third-place honors with a time of 20:57. The team's other scoring duo was Kaitlin Fink and Katie Feldman, who covered the course with a combined time of 21:57, good for 13th place.

On the men's side, Patrick McElravey and Adam Luban were the top finishing Panthers, placing 11th overall in 17:51. Evan Weinman and Lewis Nottonson comprised the other scoring tandem, crossing the line in 18:28 to finish 21st.

The nordic racers return to action on February 5-6 at the University of Vermont Carnival.
