One Day Remains At NCAA Ski Championships

Only one day remains at the 2012 NCAA Skiing Championships hosted by Montana State University. Middlebury currently sits in ninth place, after today's nordic races at Bohart Ranch. Action concludes tomorrow at Bridger Bowl with the men's and women's slalom races.

First-year racer Annie Pokorny earned All-American honors in the 15K classic race, finishing ninth overall with a time of 54:45.

Also earning All-American honors was Patrick Johnson, who earned the honor in the 20K classical race. Johnson finished with a time of 57:07, placing fifth overall. Earning a 13th place finish was Ben Lustgarten in 58:27, followed by chase Marston in 26th (1:00.28).

"I couldn't be more proud of the team here in Montana,” said nordic coach Andrew Gardner. “We had a tough day on Wednesday and to see this group rally back with two NCAA-All American finishes and four top 20 finishes in all is amazing to see in a tough race like the classic mass start."
