The Middlebury ski team remains in ninth place after three days of action at the 2010 NCAA Championships hosted by the University of Colorado. The Panthers remain the leader among Division III schools with 233.5 points, while Denver (589.5), New Mexico (535) and Colorado (504) comprise the Utah (472) top three teams. Action wraps-up on Saturday with the the men's 20K free and the women's 15K free nordic races.
Bobby Poehling earned All-American honors for the men in the slalom on Friday night. The junior earned a sixth place finish with a combined time of 1:16.22. Jacob Lund had a solid race with a 12th place (1:16.75) finish, while Bryan Shpall fell during his second run.
Nicole Dvorak came in 23rd place for the women in the slalom, finishing with a time of 1:24.33. Tasha Woodworth wasn't as fortunate, falling during her second run to finish 32nd in 1:56.63.
