    In a showdown of perennial top-10 teams Saturday, the eighth-ranked Middlebury men's tennis team posted a 5-4 victory at fourth-ranked Bowdoin (12-3, 4-2) in a rematch of last spring’s NCAA Championship contest. Middlebury (12-5, 5-1) returns to action next Saturday when it wraps up the regular season with a 12:00 p.m. match at No. 7 Amherst.

    The eighth-ranked Middlebury men's tennis team began its weekend in Maine with a 7-2 victory Friday over NESCAC foe Bates (5-9, 3-2) at the Wallach Tennis Center. Middlebury (12-5, 5-1) returns to action tomorrow with a 2:00 p.m. contest at fourth-ranked Bowdoin in a rematch of last spring’s NCAA Championship match.

    The eighth-ranked Panther men's tennis team fell behind after doubles play for the second-straight day, but responded by winning four of the six singles matches en route to a 5-4 come-from-behind victory Sunday over No. 10 Williams (7-5, 4-1). Middlebury (11-5, 4-1) returns to action Friday when travels to Bates for a 4:00 p.m. match.

    The eighth-ranked Panther men's tennis team fell behind 3-0 after doubles play, but the Panthers responded by sweeping the six singles matches on their way to a 6-3 home victory over No. 18 Tufts (5-7, 1-4) on Saturday. The match was played on the Proctor Tennis Courts. Middlebury (10-5, 3-1) returns to action Sunday when it hosts No. 10 Williams at 12:00 p.m.
  • No. 2 Panther Men Split Sunday Matches

    The second-ranked Panther men's tennis team split a pair of matches at home on Sunday, picking up a 7-2 NESCAC triumph over Connecticut College, before falling 6-3 to third-ranked Emory. The matches took place on the Proctor Tennis Courts. The Panthers (9-5, 2-1) return to action on Saturday when they entertain 17th-ranked Tufts beginning at 12:00 p.m.
  • Middlebury Men Fall to No. 7 Wesleyan

    In a matchup of top-10 nationally-ranked teams, the second-ranked Middlebury men's tennis team fell by a 6-3 score in NESCAC action to visiting No. 7 Wesleyan (10-2, 3-1). The match took place outdoors on the Proctor Tennis Courts. Middlebury (8-4, 1-1) returns to action tomorrow with an 11:00 a.m. home league match against Connecticut College, followed by a 2:30 p.m. contest with third-ranked Emory.
  • Panthers Fall to No. 4 CMS to End Spring Trip

    Second-ranked Middlebury completed its spring trip to Southern California on Saturday, falling to No. 4 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (17-1) by a 7-2 score. The match was played at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center. Middlebury returns to action next Saturday with a 12:00 p.m. NESCAC home tilt with No. 7 Wesleyan.
  • Panther Men Breeze Past No. 13 Pomona-Pitzer

    Middlebury claimed five of the six points during singles action en route to an 8-1 victory on Thursday evening at No. 13 Pomona-Pitzer. The second-ranked Panthers improve to 8-2 and wrap up their spring trip on Saturday with a 3:00 p.m. match at No. 4 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
  • Men's Tennis Narrowly Falls to Division II Azusa Pacific

    The Middlebury men's tennis team continued its spring break trip in California on Tuesday, falling by a narrow 4-3 score to Division II Azusa Pacific at the Munson and Bavougian Tennis Complex. The second-ranked Panthers (7-2) have a day off before returning to action on Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. eastern match at 14th-ranked Pomona-Pitzer.

    The Middlebury men's tennis team saw its 12-match unbeaten streak dating back to last spring come to an end on Monday, falling 6-1 to Division I UC Irvine at the Anteater Tennis Stadium. The second-ranked Panthers (7-1) return to the courts on Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. match at Division II Azusa Pacific.
  • Middlebury Men Pick Up Two Wins in California

    The second-ranked Panther men's tennis team continued its spring trip through California, picking up a pair of wins on Sunday. Middlebury started the day with an 8-1 win at Occidental, followed by a 7-2 victory against George Fox in a match played at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Middlebury stays unbeaten at 7-0 and returns to the courts on Monday at Division I UC Irvine starting at 3:00 p.m. eastern.

The second-ranked Panthers (5-0) return to the courts on Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. eastern match at Occidental, followed by a 6:00 p.m. contest against George Fox at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

The second-ranked Panthers (4-0) return to action during their spring break trip with seven matches in California, beginning with a contest on March 23 at Biola.

    In a battle of top-10 nationally-ranked foes, the second-ranked Panther men's tennis team defeated No. 10 Brandeis (7-2) on Saturday by a 6-3 score. The contest was played indoors at the Nelson Recreational Center. The Panthers (3-0) return to action on Sunday with a 2:30 p.m. home match against Rensselaer.
  • Panther Men Start Spring With Pair of Wins

    The second-ranked Panther men's tennis team played its first two matches of the spring on Saturday, picking up a road victory over Skidmore 9-0, followed by a 9-0 home win over Hamilton. The Panthers (2-0) return to action next Saturday when they host 10th-ranked Brandeis at 2:30 p.m.

    Earning its third NCAA title a season ago, the Middlebury men’s tennis team has no plans of easing up as it welcomes back a championship-tested lineup this season. The 2019 team is ready to get back to the pinnacle following its sixth-straight 20-plus win season a year ago, setting a program single-season record with 25 wins (25-4). 
  • Panthers End Fall With Two Titles at Tufts/Deis Invitational

    The Middlebury men's tennis team concluded the fall portion of its schedule with two titles at the Tufts/Deis Invitational over the weekend. Two singles draws as well as a two doubles brackets were both contested. After the first round of play in each bracket, consolation backdraws also took place.
  • Men's Tennis Competes at Princeton's Farnsworth Invitational

    Members of the Middlebury men's tennis team competed in the Farnsworth Invitational hosted by Princeton at the Lenz Tennis Center. The Panthers were the lone Division III team in a tournament of 15 schools. The invitational consisted of coaches entering players in pairs of two for a Davis Cup format, as each pair formed a team that played doubles first, followed by two singles matches.
  • Panthers Host ITA Men's Tennis New England Regional

    Champions have been crowned at the 2018 ITA Men's Tennis New England Regional Championship hosted by Middlebury College. The winners of both the singles and doubles draws advance to the ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Georgia from October 11-14, 2018.

    The second day of the 2018 ITA Men's Tennis New England Regional has come to a close, with action taking place at the Proctor Tennis Courts on the Middlebury campus. After two days of competition, the third-seeded Panther doubles duo of Lubomir Cuba and Nate Eazor will play in the semifinals on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.
  • Day One of ITA Men’s New England Regional Complete
    September 28, 2018
    The opening day of the 2018 ITA Men's Tennis New England Regional has come to a close, with action taking place at the Proctor Tennis Courts and indoors on the Nelson Recreation Center courts on the Middlebury campus. Following day one, four Panthers remain in the singles bracket that will begin competition around 12:00 p.m., while all three Middlebury doubles pairs were victorious and will continue play in the bracket at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
  • Men's Tennis to Host ITA New England Regional
    September 27, 2018
    Middlebury College will serve as the host site for the 2018 ITA Division III Men's New England Regional Tennis Championship. The tournament will be played on the Proctor Tennis Courts with the Nelson Recreational Center as an indoor facility in the case of inclement weather. Singles and doubles action begins Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude with the championship rounds on Sunday. A total of 20 New England Division III schools will have singles players and/or doubles tandems competing this weekend.
  • Men’s Tennis Wins Produces Solid Finishes in Own Invitational

    The Middlebury Invitational has come to an end with the host school earning solid results, including a champion the B singles bracket on Sunday. Matches were contested outdoors at the Proctor Tennis Courts and indoors at the Nelson Recreation Center on the Middlebury campus. The team will return to action Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30 when it hosts the ITA Regional Championships.
  • Day One Completed at the Middlebury Invitational

    The opening day of the 2018 Middlebury Invitational has come to a close. Action is taking place at both the Proctor Tennis Courts (outdoors) and the Nelson Recreational Center (indoors) on the Middlebury campus. A total of four Panthers have advanced to the semifinal round in their respective singles brackets, while one doubles tandem has moved on to Sunday's competition. The second and final day of the invitational is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.
  • Draws Announced for Middlebury Men's Tennis Invitational

    The draws have been announced for the 2018 Middlebury Men's Tennis Invitational. Four singles and two doubles draws will be contested as the Panthers open up the fall portion of the 2018-19 season. Seven different teams will compete in the two-day tournament with action beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning at Proctor Tennis Courts.
