  • Men's Squash Players Earn NESCAC Honors

    Two members of the Middlebury College men’s squash team recently earned All-NESCAC honors when the league announced the squad. Junior Valentin Quan (San Salvador, El Salvador) earned a spot on the first-team, while sophomore Jay Dolan (Wareham, Mass.) was named to the second-team.
  • Squash Players Return From Nationals

    Five members of the Middlebury squash teams took part in the Individual Nationals hosted by Dartmouth College from March 4-6. First-year player Abby Jenkins was the lone Panther to earn a win, with the others falling and enjoying some success in the consolation round. Junior Kathryn Bostwick was victorious in a pair of consolation matches, before falling in the consolation finals.
  • Squash Players Headed To Nationals

    Six members of the Middlebury squash teams are in action at the Individual Nationals hosted by Dartmouth College from March 4-6. Junior Elena Laird, first-year player Abby Jenkins, senior Virginia Shannon and junior Kathryn Bostwick will represent the women, while Jay Dolan and Brian Cady (alternate) look to compete for the men.
  • Men's Squash Ends Season 14th Nationally

    The Panther men’s squash team finished its season ranked 14th nationally, ending with a 14-11 record. At team nationals hosted by Harvard, the Panthers opened with an 8-1 loss to Williams in the Hoehn Cup (B Division).

    The Middlebury men's squash team has earned the sixth seed in the Hoehn Cup for the upcoming Team Nationals hosted by Harvard. The Panthers, ranked 14th overall, will take on 11th ranked Williams in a quarterfinal match on Friday, February 25th at 11:30 a.m.
  • Men's Squash Hosts Five Matches

    The #14 Middlebury men’s squash team had a busy weekend with five matches taking place at home. The weekend opened with a 9-0 loss to #9 Dartmouth, before cruising past the University of Vermont 8-1 and Bard, 9-0. On Sunday, the Panthers fell 7-2 to #11 Williams, before earning a second win over UVM, 8-1.
  • Quan Earns Player Of The Week Honors

    Middlebury College men's squash player Valentin Quan has been named the Men's College Sqush Player of the Week by the CSA (College Squash Association). At the New England Small College Athletic Conference’s (NESCAC) Squash Championships, Middlebury’s #1 Quan led the Panthers to their best ever finish at the tournament, third.
  • Men's Squash Earns Best Finish

    The Panther men’s squash team finished third at the NESCAC Championship, advancing to the semifinal round. The third place finish was the highest for the Panthers in the five-year history of the tournament. 15th-ranked Middlebury cruised to an 8-1 win over #18 Amherst in the quarterfinals, before falling 8-1 to top-ranked Trinity in a semifinal contest.
  • Men's Squash Returns From Trip

    The Middlebury men’s squash team returned from a lengthy road trip with a 1-3 mark against stiff competition. The #13 Panthers opened with a 6-3 loss to #15 St. Lawrence, before dropping a 9-0 match against Western Ontario. Middlebury earned its first win over an Ivy League team, topping #20 Columbia 8-1.
  • Men's Squash Knocks Off Bates

    The Panther men’s squash team played four matches over the weekend at the Yale Round Robin Tournament. The weekend opened with a big win, as the 17th-ranked Panthers knocked off #12 Bates, 5-4. Middlebury earned a 6-3 win over #16 George Washington on Saturday, before falling 7-2 to #13 Brown.
  • Men's Squash Earns Three Wins

    The Middlebury College men’s squash team upped its winning streak to five matches as the 17th-ranked Panthers picked up three more wins. Middlebury opened the weekend with an 8-1 win over #19 Amherst, before topping #25 Hobart 9-0 at Amherst. Middlebury returned home, defeating #21 Hamilton, 9-0. First-year player Parker Hurst (Greenwich, Conn.) improved to 5-1 on the season with his only loss coming to Princeton.
  • Men's Squash Tops Bowdoin & Colby

    The 18th-ranked Middlebury men’s squash team returned to action in the second semester as they played a pair of contests at Williams. Middlebury defeated #17 Bowdoin 7-2, following that up with an 8-1 win over #24 Colby. The victory over Bowdoin avenges a pair of losses at the hands of the Polar Bears just a year ago.
  • Men's Squash Opens Season

    The Panther men’s squash team opened up its season with a tough challenge, facing the third-ranked team in the country from Princeton. The match was played at Williams, as 17th-ranked Middlebury fell 9-0. The Tigers played their full line-up in the match, featuring the nation’s top-ranked player, Todd Harrity.
