    Fourth-ranked Tufts (13-1, 8-1) outscored Middlebury 6-1 in the fourth quarter on its way to a 23-14 victory on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers (7-7, 4-5) wrap up their regular season on Wednesday with a 6:00 p.m. game at #8 Williams.

    Middlebury rattled off 16-consecutive goals spanning 37:24 of action from the second to the fourth quarters, posting a 21-4 victory Wednesday at Plattsburgh State (6-7). The Panthers have scored a combined 43 goals in their last two wins. Middlebury (7-6) returns to NESCAC action as it travels Saturday to fourth-ranked Tufts for a 2:00 p.m. faceoff with the Jumbos.
  • Panthers Start Fast In 22-6 Triumph Over Trinity

    Middlebury tallied the game’s first nine goals, as the Panthers handled visiting Trinity in a 22-6 NESCAC victory on Saturday. The 22 goals marks the most since Middlebury recorded 24 in win over Castleton in the 2011 NCAA Tournament. The Panthers (6-6, 4-4) head to Plattsburgh State on Wednesday for a 4:00 p.m. start in the final non-conference game of the season, while the Bantams (8-5, 3-5) are idle until next Saturday when they host Colby at 7:00 p.m.
  • Men's Lacrosse Runs Past Springfield

    Middlebury scored the game’s first 15 goals on its way to a 15-7 win over Springfield (4-8) Tuesday afternoon on Youngman Field at Alumni Stadium. The Panthers (5-6) return to action on Saturday when they host Trinity at 2:00 p.m., while the Pride will have a noon start at Mass. Maritime.

    Tied at 10-10 after three quarters, Colby (5-4, 1-4) outscored Middlebury 4-2 in the final 15 minutes for a 14-12 victory on Youngman Field at Alumni Stadium. The Panthers (4-6, 3-4) return to action on Wednesday when they host Springfield at 4:00 p.m.
  • Middlebury Holds Off Late Charge By Hamilton

    Middlebury moved out to a 15-7 lead after three quarters and held off a late push by visiting Hamilton, en route to a 17-14 NESCAC victory Wednesday on Youngman Field at Alumni Stadium. The Panthers (4-5, 3-3) remain at home for another conference contest on Saturday when they host Colby at 1:00 p.m., while the Continentals (3-5, 1-5) entertain Trinity at the same time.
  • #2 Amherst Pulls Away From Middlebury

    Middlebury trailed second-ranked Amherst 12-9 early in the third quarter, but the Mammoths (9-0, 4-0) tallied 10 of the next 14 goals en route to a 23-12 home NESCAC victory Saturday. The Panthers (3-5, 2-3) return home for another conference contest on Wednesday, hosting Hamilton at 4:00 p.m.
  • Union Gets Past Middlebury for 14-10 Win

    Middlebury possessed a two-goal lead at the half against Union, but the Dutchmen (6-1) tallied eight times over the final 30 minutes for a 14-10 victory over the Panthers Wednesday inside Syracuse’s Carrier Dome. Middlebury (3-4) returns to NESCAC play Saturday, heading to second-ranked Amherst for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
  • Middlebury Rallies Past Bowdoin
    March 23, 2019
    Middlebury used a five-goal run in the second quarter to erase an early deficit, as the Panthers defeated Bowdoin 14-9 on Saturday in its home opener. The meeting was the 50th between the two programs, with Middlebury holding a 33-17 edge in the series. The Panthers (3-3, 2-2) face Union on Wednesday in Syracuse’s Carrier Dome at 12:00 p.m., while the Polar Bears (4-3, 2-2) host Endicott at 7:00 p.m. that same day.
  • Men's Lacrosse Knocks Off #8 Dickinson

    Middlebury scored 10 second-half goals on its way to a 16-11 win over #8 Dickinson (5-2) on Saturday. The game was played as part of the Mustang Classic, hosted by Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Maryland. The Panthers (2-3) return to action next Saturday with their home opener against Bowdoin at 1:00 p.m.
  • Middlebury Comeback Falls Short Against #7 Wesleyan

    Middlebury’s comeback effort against #7 Wesleyan came up short, as the Panthers (1-3, 1-2) suffered a 12-6 loss at the hands of the Cardinals (4-1, 2-1). The game was played as part of the Mustang Classic, hosted by Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Maryland. The Panthers return to action on Saturday when they play #8 Dickinson at Stevenson with an 11:30 a.m. faceoff.
  • Panther Men's Lacrosse Falls to St. Lawrence
    March 12, 2019
    Middlebury jumped out to a 2-1 lead in Tuesday’s contest with St. Lawrence, but the Saints (3-0) outscored the Panthers 7-1 during the second and third quarters en route to a 9-3 win. The game was played on SUNY Canton’s Turf Field. The Panthers (1-2) return to action on Friday against No. 7 Wesleyan at 11:30 a.m. as part of the Mustang Classic played at Stevenson.
  • Men's Lacrosse Earns NESCAC Road Win at Conn. College
    March 09, 2019
    Middlebury outscored Connecticut College 7-3 in the second half, on its way to a 16-9 win over the Camels (1-2, 0-2) on Silfen Field. The Panthers (1-1, 1-1) return to action on Tuesday with another road contest, this one taking place at St. Lawrence.
  • Men's Lax Drops Opener at Bates

    Middlebury dropped its season opener, falling 17-10 on the road at Bates (2-1, 1-0) on Sunday afternoon. The Panthers (0-1, 0-1) return to action next Saturday when they travel to Connecticut College at 2:00 p.m.

The 2019 roster is young but experienced, including six seniors who have played in two of the last three NESCAC title games, as well as two of the last four NCAA Tournaments.

    Middlebury College has announced the hiring of Duncan FitzGerald as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach. He joins the Panther program after spending the last three seasons in a similar role at Division II Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina.
