Middlebury College men's hockey player Martin Drolet (Lachine, Que.) has been named a second-team All-American by the AHCA (American Hockey Coaches Association). The two-time All-NESCAC selection recently helped lead the team to its eighth NESCAC Championship, with an overall record of 19-5-4.
Drolet ended the season leading the NESCAC in scoring with 15 goals and 21 assists for 36 points on the season. He finished second in the league in assists and was tied for fourth in goals. His 21 assists and 36 points led the Panthers, while his 15 goals placed him second among his teammates. The sophomore was steady all season long with just two multiple goal games. He has dished out three assists in a game three times this year, while earning a five-point (2-3-5) game in a win over Wisconsin-Stout at the PrimeLink Tournament.
He was named the NESCAC rookie of the year in '09 and currently owns 34 goals and 35 assists for 69 points in 55 career games played.
