Middlebury College men's hockey player Martin Drolet (Lachine, Que.) has earned first-team All-NESCAC honors. The sophomore and his teammates are sporting a 17-4-4 record as they head into this weekend's championship hosted by Bowdoin.
Drolet earns first-team honors for the second consecutive season after being named the league's rookie of the year a season ago. He leads the team and NESCAC in scoring (14-21-35) this season with 1.40 points/game. His .56 goals place him fifth in the league, while he paces the NESCAC with .84 assists/contest. Drolet has been steady all season long with just two multiple goal games. He has dished out three assists in a game three times this year, while earning a five-point (2-3-5) game in a win over Wisconsin-Stout at the PrimeLink Tournament.
