Middlebury earned a come-from-behind NESCAC road win on Tuesday night, with a 5-2 victory at Williams.
Trailing 2-0 after one period, Mickey Gilchrist cut the lead in half at the 11:35 mark of the second period. Eric LaFreniere scored the equalizer at 2:29 of the third, with Evgeny Saidachev following with the game-winner just 37 seconds later. The game remained at 3-2 until Jamie McKenna's unassisted goal at 17:13. Gilchrist sealed the win with an empty-netter with eight seconds remaining.
Ross Cherry made 22 saves in goal to earn the win, as Middlebury out shot Williams 44-24 on the night.
