Men's Golf Competes at Williams

The Panther men's golf team placed 16th among 25 teams at the Williams Fall Invitational. Babson won the event with a 588, followed by Williams (589) and Rochester (591). The Panthers finished the two-day event with a 628. The event was held at the Taconic Golf Club, as Middlebury returns to action next weekend at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier hosted by Tufts.

Fresh off his win at the Duke Nelson Tournament, Jeffrey Giguere led the Panthers at the event, tying for ninth place overall with a 147 (74-73). Middlebury's next finisher was in a tie for 51st place overall, as Sean McGarrity carded a 156 (79-77). Phin Choukas took seven strokes off his day one score to tie for 57th with a 157 (82-75), while Chris Thompson tied for 63rd (76-82-158). Hogan Beazley carded a 171 (84-87), while Jordan Bessalel shot a 79 on Saturday and did not play on Sunday.
