  • Men's Golf Ends Fall at Sap Bucket Challenge - Giguere Ties For Top Honors

    The Middlebury men's golf team wrapped up its fall season by hosting the Ekwanok Sap Bucket Challenge at the Ekwanok Country Club in Manchester, Vermont. Eight golfers participated for each team, with the top-six scores counting for each squad. Williams won the event with a 447, followed by Trinity (460), Middlebury (464) and Hamilton (476).
  • Panthers Compete at Saratoga Invitational

    The Middlebury men’s golf team finished seventh among nine teams at the Saratoga Invitational hosted by Skidmore. NYU won the event with a 577, followed by Babson (578) and Rensselaer (588).
  • Men's Golf Fifth at NESCAC Qualifier

    The Middlebury men’s golf team finished one spot shy of qualifying for the NESCAC Championship, placing fifth overall at the fall qualifier. Middlebury shot a 300 on day one and a 304 on Sunday for a two-day total of 604.

    The Middlebury men's golf team sits in fifth place after 18 holes of action at the 2019 NESCAC Golf Fall Qualifier. Williams leads the field with a 291, followed by Amherst (295) and Tufts (296). Middlebury came in with a 300 on Saturday.
  • Panther Men's Golf Heads to NESCAC Qualifier

    Winners of five of the last nine NESCAC Tournament titles, Middlebury begins its quest toward number six this weekend when it heads to Massachusetts for the 2019 NESCAC Men's Golf Fall Championship Qualifier. Tufts is set to host the two-day event at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, Massachusetts. on September 28-29. The 2019 edition of the qualifier marks the first time the Jumbos are serving as the hosts in program history.
  • Men's Golf Competes at Williams

    The Panther men’s golf team placed 16th among 25 teams at the Williams Fall Invitational. Babson won the event with a 588, followed by Williams (589) and Rochester (591). The Panthers finished the two-day event with a 628. The event was held at the Taconic Golf Club, as Middlebury returns to action next weekend at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier hosted by Tufts.
  • Giguere Medals, Middlebury Takes Third at Duke Nelson

    Middlebury’s Jeffrey Giguere claimed medalist honors at the 36th Annual Duke Nelson Tournament on his home course, finishing with a two-day total of 142 (70-72). New York University claimed the team title with a score of 589, edging Williams (590) and the host Panthers (592). Action took place Saturday and Sunday at the par-71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the Middlebury campus. The Panthers return to action next weekend at the Williams Fall Invitational.
  • Day One Complete at Duke Nelson Golf Tournament

    The Middlebury men's golf team is tied for first place after 18 holes at the 36th Annual Duke Nelson Tournament. Action is taking place at the par-71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the Middlebury campus. The Panthers and New York University each shot a 291 on Saturday, with Babson two strokes back at 293.

    The Middlebury men’s golf team enters the season with a good mix of experienced veterans along with talented youth that comprise the roster. Winners of five of the last nine NESCAC Championships and a third-place finish last spring, the Panthers are primed to contend again in 2019-20.
