Seniors Reid Buzby (San Francisco, Calif.) and Philippe Morin (Canton, Conn.) have both earned All-NESCAC honors for the Panther men's golf team. The duo was part of a team that won the NESCAC Fall Qualifier, earning the right to host the spring championship. The Panthers had a strong spring by tying for first at the Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore and placing third at the Williams Spring Invitational.
Buzby earned a spot on the first team for the second time (2015) in his career, after earning second-team honors in 2016. He was also a first-team All-Region selection in 2017. Buzby's best finish of the fall came at the NEIGA Championship, taking home medalist honors with a two-day total of 145 in the 114-man field. He tied for the first the following weekend at Skidmore, shooting a 137, including a 66 on day two.
The former Regional Rookie of the Year, Morin earned second-team All-NESCAC honors for the second time (2016) as a Panther, after holding down a spot on the first team as a rookie in the fall of 2015. His best finish of the year came at the NEIGA Championship in late October when he finished fourth with a two-day total of 151, including a 73 on the second day. This spring, Morin shot a 74 and a 72 at the Williams Spring Invitational to place seventh.
