Schweppe is in her second year as an assistant coach for the field hockey program in 2019-20 and was a special assistant for the Middlebury field hockey staff sports envoy program to coach the game in Jharkhand, India (Ranchi) in November 2018. She joined the staff after graduating from Middlebury in May 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in history and a classical civilizations minor. 

Last fall, Schweppe helped guide Middlebury to a 21-1 record, the single-most wins in program history. The Panthers secured their fifth NESCAC Championship in the last seven seasons and sixth overall. Middlebury ended the campaign by winning its third NCAA title in the last four seasons with a 2-0 victory against Tufts in Manheim, Pennsylvania. 

On the field, Schweppe was a four-year contributor for the Panthers during her playing career in which she won two NCAA titles. She garnered both NFHCA First-Team All-American and first-team all-region honors as a senior. The 2017 NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player was also a First-Team All-NESCAC selection as a senior. She started every game during her final two seasons, playing a majority of the field as a defensive midfielder.

Away from the field, Schweppe was involved Middlebury’s Green Dot organization. She did summer internships during the summer of 2016 and 2017, as well as worked for the program during her final two school years.
