Ritter Honored By Gridiron Club of Greater Boston

GRIDIRON CLUB OF GREATER BOSTON RELEASE

Middlebury football head coach Bob Ritter has been named the New England Division III Coach of the Year by the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston. He will be honored at a dinner on Thursday, December 19 at the Burlington Marriott Hotel in Massachusetts.

Ritter recently earned NESCAC Coach of the Year honors for the third time, previously garnering the honor in 2007 and 2013. He led his team to the first 9-0 season in NESCAC history and the 2019 NESCAC Championship. The Panthers finished second in the league in points (30.6), yards/game (410.6) and were the least penalized team in the league. The defense led the league in both sacks (26) and interceptions (17).

He currently owns a career record of 102-54 over 19 years at his alma mater.
