Baseball Team Raising Funds for Pediatric Brain Tumor Families

The Middlebury baseball team is raising funds for the Vs. Cancer Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The organization empowers any sports team, athlete and community to help kids with cancer, as all proceeds help fund child life programs in local hospitals and lifesaving pediatric brain tumor research.

In response to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the foundation kicked off the #NotDoneYet campaign, which aims at rallying the baseball community to support pediatric brain tumor families through this crisis. The fundraiser goes through May 23, with a goal of $50,000. Of the $18,141 raised so far, the Panthers lead all participants with $7,764.

Additionally, head coach Mike Leonard and several Panthers shaved their heads to show support for the mission and raise awareness.
