  • LeMasurier Named Asst. Alpine Ski Coach

    Jane LeMasurier has been named the new assistant alpine ski coach at Middlebury College. She comes to Middlebury from the Mount Mansfield Ski Club in Stowe, Vermont. At Mount Mansfield, LeMasurier worked as the assistant women's FIS coach for the 2006-2007 season.
  • Middlebury Finishes Tied For Sixth At NCAA Skiing Championships

    Middlebury finished the 2007 NCAA Skiing Championship in a sixth place tie with New Mexico. Dartmouth won the title, followed by Denver, Colorado, Utah and Vermont.
  • Ski Teams Head To NCAA's

    The University of New Hampshire will be the host of the 54th NCAA Men's and Women's Skiing Championships March 7-10, 2007 at Attitash and Jackson XC in the Mt. Washington Valley of New Hampshire. Middlebury will send a full team of six skiers on the alpine side, while sending four nordic racers to the event.
  • Dartmouth Wins Middlebury Carnival (EISA Championships)

    Dartmouth completed its carnival sweep this season as they captured the Middlebury Carnival (EISA Championships) to wrap up the carnival circuit. The Big Green finished with 928.5 points, followed by Vermont in second (858), Middlebury in third (833) and UNH in fourth (682).  COMPLETE RESULTS
  • Ski Teams To Host Carnival

    Middlebury College will once again be the host site for the 2007 EISA Skiing Championships on February 23rd and 24th. The alpine races will be held at the Snow Bowl, while the nordic races will take place at the Rikert Ski Touring Center.

    The Panther nordic and alpine ski teams made it three straight third place finishes as Middlebury competed at the University of Vermont Carnival. Dartmouth was once again the victor, followed by Vermont, Middlebury and UNH.

    The Middlebury College nordic and alpine ski teams finished third for the second straight week as they competed at the University of New Hampshire Carnival. Dartmouth won its second carnival, followed by Vermont, Middlebury and UNH.
  • Ski Teams Open Carnival Circuit At St. Michael's

    The Middlebury College nordic and alpine ski teams opened up the 2007 carnival season as they raced at the St. Michael's carnival. Dartmouth won the event with 697 points, followed by Vermont (686), Middlebury (679) and UNH (576). The Panthers won the men's giant slalom race as well as the women's slalom event.

  • Athletes Volunteer At Beeman

    Members of the Middlebury College men's lacrosse and alpine ski teams recently returned from a long rainy day of volunteering at the Beeman Elementary School in New Haven, Vermont. The Panthers joined over 100 volunteers who were on hand to help construct a long-awaited playground.

  • Brush Bike Ride Raises Over 56K!

    On Saturday, September 16, 2006 the Middlebury Ski Team rode in the first annual Kelly Brush Century Bike Ride. The bike ride was a benefit organized by the Middlebury College Alpine Ski Team to raise funds for teammate Kelly Brush who was paralyzed from the waist down in a ski racing accident this past February.

    Middlebury College Ski Team member Kelly Brush sustained a severe spinal cord injury on February 18, 2006 while competing in the Williams College Ski Carnival. After spending nearly three months at Craig Hospital in Colorado, Kelly is adapting to her new life and will return to Middlebury this Fall to join her friends and classmates. Currently, Kelly has use of her arms and feeling at the chest level and above, but is dependent on a wheelchair to get around.
