Middlebury men's squash rookie Justin Ghaeli (Richmond Hill, Ont.) won the consolation draw of the Molloy Cup North bracket during the College Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships. The three-day event was held at the Moses Brown's School's Nicol Squash Club in Providence, Rhode Island.
- Competing in the main draw's round of 16, Ghaeli fell in three games Friday afternoon. Later that day in the consolation bracket, he rebounded for a three-game triumph. The next day, Ghaeli advanced to the final with a three-game triumph.
- During Sunday's final, Ghaeli bested Drexel's Luke Willemese in four games to win the title (11-6, 10-12, 11-8, 11-9).
- The 2019 NESCAC Rookie of the Year and first-team all-conference selection completes his first season with a record of 15-10, including a 3-1 record this weekend.
