    Middlebury cruised to a 73-46 win over Johnson State in the team's home-opener in Pepin Gymnasium. The Panthers held the Beavers to 19.6% shooting from the floor, while holding a 49-32 advantage on the boards.
  • Men's Basketball Pulls Away in Second Half from RPI for Home-Opening Victory

    Middlebury utilized a 7-0 run in a 53-second span during the second half Sunday and turned a three-point advantage to double figures, cruising to an 87-78 victory over Rensselaer in the team's home-opener.
  • Fifth-Ranked Women’s Hockey Goes 1-1 During Panther/Cardinal Classic

    The fifth-ranked Middlebury women’s hockey team went 1-1 during the annual Panther/Cardinal Classic with this year’s edition hosted by Plattsburgh State. The Panthers were defeated by #2 Elmira on Saturday by a score of 4-1, but Middlebury rebounded for a 3-2 overtime victory during Sunday’s consolation game against fourth-ranked Gustavus Adolphus. Rookie Maddie Winslow (Manchester, Vt.) was named to the all-tournament team as she scored the game-winner 1:09 into overtime during Sunday’s win.
  • Men’s Hockey Drops a Pair Playing Host to the PrimeLink Great Northern Shootout

    The Middlebury men’s hockey team dropped a pair of games while hosting the 17th-annual PrimeLink Great Northern Shootout inside Kenyon Arena. The Panthers scored three-straight goals on Friday evening but fell to Concordia (Minn.) 4-3. A day later, Middlebury was defeated in the consolation game by third-ranked Plattsburgh State by a 4-2 score. Junior Ronald Fishman (Roslyn, N.Y.) was selected to the all-tournament team. Concordia won the tournament in a shootout (2-1) after a 2-2 tie with Norwich in the title game.
