  • Sixth-Ranked Women's Lacrosse Wins NCAA Regional, Moves On to Final Four

    The Middlebury women's lacrosse team advanced to the NCAA final four for the 15th time in the program’s history with a pair of wins during the NCAA Regional at Gettysburg’s Clark Field. The Panthers earned an 18-10 win Saturday over #13 Hamilton in a game delayed twice by lightning. A day later, Middlebury posted a 10-8 triumph over #12 York. The sixth-ranked Panthers (16-3) will take on Cortland State in an NCAA semifinal game on Saturday, May 23 at 1:00 p.m. in Philadelphia. Franklin & Marshall will meet Trinity in the other semifinal contest.
  • Men’s Golf Competes in NCAA Tournament

    The Middlebury men’s golf team competed at the NCAA Tournament last week held at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Panthers finished in a 24th-place tie among 41 teams competing.
  • Andersen, Player Post Top-Six Finishes in Javelin at ECAC Championships

    Two members of the Middlebury women's track and field teams looked to better their distances for the upcoming NCAA Championship next week, competing at the ECAC Championship event Thursday hosted by Springfield. Junior Carly Andersen (Mercer Island, Wash.) and rookie Devon Player (Phoenixville, Pa.) each took part in the javelin throw, garnering All-ECAC honors with their top-eight finishes.
