  • Middlebury Women’s Hockey Falls in NESCAC Title Game, Will Host NCAA Quarterfinal

    The third-ranked Middlebury women’s hockey team advanced to the NESCAC Tournament championship game before falling by a 3-2 score in overtime to 10th-ranked Trinity on Sunday in Kenyon Arena. The Panthers, the league’s top seed, made their way to the final via a 4-2 victory Saturday over fifth-seeded Bowdoin, 4-2. Middlebury gained an at-large berth into the NCAA Tournament and will host fifth-ranked Norwich in a quarterfinal game next Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
  • Blackburn Eclipses Pentathlon Record as Panthers Compete at ECACs

    Sophomore Hannah Blackburn (Chapel Hill, N.C.) broke her own school record she set just two weeks ago in the pentathlon, highlighting the Panther indoor track teams' results during the ECAC Championships. The meet, comprised of more than 60 men's and 60 women's teams, was held at the 168th Street Armory in New York City and was hosted by NYU, as athletes looked to qualify and better their respective marks for next weekend's NCAA Championships.

    Tenth-ranked Middlebury scored nine-straight first-half goals on its way to a 19-2 win over Connecticut College on a cold and blustery Kohn Field.
  • Men’s Lacrosse Posts Pair of Four-Goal Victories

    The Middlebury men's lacrosse team recorded a 2-0 week. The Panthers took an early 3-0 lead over visiting Plattsburgh State en route to a 10-6 home win Tuesday under the lights in a game moved to Kohn Field. On Saturday, Middlebury mounted a 6-0 second-half run on its way to a 13-9 NESCAC triumph at Connecticut College.
