Honors: 2014 & 2015 Second-Team All-American

Pierce was named a Capital One Second-Team Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). At the time of his graduation, he was the only two-time Academic All-American honoree in the college's history. The linebacker/strong safety helped lead the team to five-straight wins and a 6-2 record in 2014 followed by a solid 5-3 mark in 2015.

Pierce graduated with a 3.94 grade point average as an economics major at Middlebury and is a three-time member of the All-NESCAC Academic team. He was also a second-team All-NESCAC selection as a defensive back. Pierce finished the 2015 season with 46 tackles, a sack, an interception and five pass break-ups. The strong safety opened the season with 11 stops and a sack in a win at Wesleyan. He finished with four or more tackles seven times, including eight in a win at Bates where he also picked off a pass. Pierce finished his career with 144 tackles, seven interceptions and 14 pass break-ups.
