DeNunzio Competes On Day One of NCAA Diving Regionals

Middlebury women's diver Elissa DeNunzio competed during the first day of the 2018 NCAA Division III Northeast-North Diving Regional. The two-day event is being hosted by the Panthers inside the Middlebury Natatorium.

DeNunzio took 19th overall in the field of 25 participants on the 3-meter board with a score of 365.10 points. Deborah Wen of MIT claimed the regional title with a score of 458.25 points, while Lindsay Ruderman of Amherst was right behind in second with 457.50 points.

The women will compete on the 1-meter board at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Qualifiers for the 2018 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from March 21-24, will be announced at the conclusion of the meet.
