11/27/05 - Middlebury out shot <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Hamilton 35-11 and scored four power play goals to capture their second win of the weekend. Annmarie Cellino scored a hat trick for Middlebury in the 6-2 win, which brings the Panthers to 4-0 on the season.
Hamilton started the scoring 2:45 into the first period when Carly Barker scored on a rebound after a shot from Zoe Baldwin. Middlebury answered at 4:11 on the power play, when Emily Quizon one-timed a crossing pass from Molly Vitt into the right corner. Again on the power play at 11:33, Emily McNamara scored from the high slot after a nice feed from Randi Dumont to put the Panthers up 2-1.
The second period remained scoreless until 17:58 when Shannon Sylvester scored on a rebound to increase Middlebury's lead to 3-1. The Panthers fourth power play goal of the day came less than two minutes later as Cellino poked home a loose puck to make the score 4-1. In the third period, after a nice feed from Quizon, Cellino scored a shorthanded goal at 2:40. The Continentals second goal of the game came at 6:15, when Zoe Baldwin found the back of the net. Quizon found Cellino for the second time in the period at 9:49 to complete Cellino's hat trick, and make the score 6-2.
Kate Kogut made nine saves for Middlebury in goal, while Caitlin Connelly made 29 stops for Hamilton.
