    Middlebury outscored Skidmore (2-7) 20-6 in the second quarter, on its way to a 71-45 win over the Thoroughbreds on Saturday in Pepin Gym. The Panthers complete the first semester with a perfect 8-0 record and will return to action on December 29th when they host Keene State at 2:00 p.m. Skidmore will entertain Vassar on December 12th with a 5:00 p.m. start.

    Catherine Harrison surpassed the 600-career rebound plateau, as Middlebury improved to 7-0 with an 80-70 road win at Plattsburgh State (3-4) on Tuesday night. The Panthers return to action on Saturday when they host Skidmore at 2:00 p.m.

    The Middlebury women's basketball team began its 2018-19 season with an impressive 81-43 triumph over Lasell in Pepin Gymnasium on Friday in Middlebury Tip-Off Classic. Sixth-ranked Tufts defeated Springfield by an 89-51 count in the night’s first game. The Panthers (1-0) return to action on Saturday when they face Springfield at 4:00 p.m., while the Lasers (1-1) play the Jumbos here tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
