Sophomore Nathan Hill (Hinsdale, Ill.) of the Middlebury College men's track & field team was honored when the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its list of All-American recipients following the NCAA Championship. Hill finished third in the 800-meter run on Saturday, as the top-eight finishers in each event garnered All-American status. The three-day event took place at the Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Hill recorded a qualifying time of 1:51.09 during Friday's preliminary, good for entry into Saturday's final. In the championship race, he came from the middle of the pack in the last 200 meters, overtaking two runners to record an All-American and third-place time of 1:50.87.
