Three Middlebury College men's basketball players landed spots on the 2016-17 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court. Recent graduate Matt St. Amour (Swanton, Vt.) along with rising senior Jack Daly (Eastchester, N.Y.) and rising junior Eric McCord (Westford, Mass.) each found a place on the team.
The NABC Honors Court honors collegiate men's basketball players who meet the following criteria. They must be academically a junior or senior, boasting a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or higher at the conclusion of the 2016-17 academic year; must have been in school and competed for at least one year at their current institution.
St. Amour graduated in May with a 3.52 GPA as an economics major, while Daly sports a 3.51 GPA in economics headed into his final year. McCord enters his junior season with a 3.62 GPA in neuroscience. All three players were also named as NESCAC Winter All-Academic selections in early March.
